Position Summary: Reporting to the Sales Director, Indirect Markets EMEA, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with existing and prospective Bioventus channel partners across the MENA region. This role is accountable for achieving predetermined sales quotas at the regional and country level, and for driving the geographical expansion of the Bioventus portfolio within the assigned markets. In close collaboration with channel partners, the Sales Manager will coordinate local activities that support commercial success, including marketing initiatives, regulatory needs, medical education, and organizational training requirements, leveraging Bioventus’ internal teams and designated training partners. This position requires regular travel, with approximately 60% of time spent in the field. Key Responsibilities: Negotiate and establish annual purchasing quotas with channel partners, while maintaining accountability for achieving quarterly and annual sales targets. Build and maintain strong business relationships with channel partners, providing guidance and support to ensure the attainment of all commercial objectives. Identify, analyze, and evaluate market opportunities, translating insights into clear, actionable plans in collaboration with internal teams. Collaborate with channel partners and internal departments (Marketing, Medical Education, Regulatory Affairs, etc.) to develop and execute initiatives that generate incremental revenue. Attend local, national, and regional exhibitions and scientific congresses in conjunction with channel partners to support business growth. Prepare quarterly regional overviews and provide accurate sales forecasts for the upcoming quarter. Ensure strict adherence to the Bioventus Code of Compliance and Ethics, all relevant policies, procedures, and internal controls. Perform other duties as assigned. Professional Requirements & Competencies: Commercial Excellence: Proven ability to effectively influence channel partners, drive sales execution, and deliver consistent revenue growth across diverse markets. Strategic Market Development: Demonstrated ability to assess market potential, identify emerging opportunities, and translate insights into actionable commercial plans to expand Bioventus’ presence in the region. Relationship & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted partnerships and maintain consistent engagement with channel partners and internal stakeholders. Cross-Functional Coordination: Serves as a key liaison between channel partners and Bioventus internal departments (Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Education, Supply Chain, Customer Service), ensuring partners receive appropriate support and that all required activities, such as training, are arranged through Bioventus’ designated training resources. Operational Excellence & Accountability: Strong discipline in forecasting, business planning, and performance tracking, holding both self and partners accountable for achieving quarterly and annual targets. Market Execution & Support: Ability to support channel partners with local market activities, commercial planning, and execution of aligned business strategies. Resilience & Adaptability: Ability to navigate diverse markets, dynamic environments, and varying regulatory frameworks across the MENA region. Ethical Conduct: Unwavering commitment to operating in full compliance with Bioventus’ Code of Conduct, corporate policies, and all applicable regional regulations, demonstrating integrity and professionalism at all times. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a Science-related field; MBA preferred. Fluency in English and Arabic required; additional languages are an asset. Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical device channel partner management. Results-oriented, self-motivated, and highly driven. Must reside in Saudi Arabia. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
