Job Title: Regional Project ManagerLocation: Dubai / EthiopiaSalary: Up to AED 33,000Job Code: 324/001/141Industry: ManufacturingJob Brief:We are seeking a Regional Project Manager to lead the setup, execution, and management of technical investment projects in the MEIA region, with a primary base in Dubai and significant on-ground involvement in Ethiopia during key project phases. The role requires ensuring project delivery within quality standards, budget, HSE compliance, and timeline expectations. The Regional Project Manager will work closely with the General Manager, Steering Committee, and Technical & Purchasing teams at both HQ and regional levels to ensure new investments are executed successfully and in line with organizational standards.Job Responsibilities:Lead the planning, management, and execution of regional technical investment projects to ensure quality, efficiency, and alignment with organizational standards.Work closely with the Regional Technical Manager and project team to ensure new technologies and investments are designed, constructed, and commissioned according to required quality and operational standards.Oversee all phases of the investment process, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines, local regulations, documentation requirements, and project milestones.Coordinate with regional and group-level teams to secure required resources, support contractor/vendor selection, and manage contracts.Monitor project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and risks; provide regular progress reports to the Steering Committee and recommend corrective actions when necessary.Lead and ensure compliance with HSE, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.Supervise consultants and contractors on-site; participate in technical meetings and ensure equipment and processes meet required specifications.Spend extended periods in Ethiopia (and possibly other regional locations) during critical project phases while maintaining Dubai as the primary base.Job Requirements:Proven experience managing Greenfield or Brownfield industrial projects such as manufacturing plants, warehouses, or R&D centers.Hands-on experience with project budgets of USD 7 million or above.Strong exposure to vendor evaluation, contract management, and cost optimization.Industry background in coatings, paints, or related chemical manufacturing sectors is highly preferred.Willingness to relocate or be stationed in Africa (Ethiopia) for the duration of the major project phases.Candidates currently based abroad are encouraged to apply.
