Job Description:**Job Summary:**
The Head of HR Shared Services, Middle East and Africa (MEA), is a senior leadership position responsible for the strategic development and operational management of HR shared services within the MEA region. The incumbent will be accountable for establishing, overseeing, and optimizing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including but not limited to onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and global mobility, across manufacturing plants and sales organizations in multiple MEA countries, commencing with the establishment of an HR Shared Services hub in Egypt. This role necessitates the effective management of a substantial team, the development of scalable HR service solutions, the streamlining of processes, the enhancement of data integrity and consistency, and the delivery of an exceptional employee experience throughout Egypt and the broader MEA region.
In addition to leading the HR Shared Services team, the incumbent will provide strategic guidance and collaborate with global Centers of Expertise (COEs) and local HR teams to standardize local compensation and benefits structures, HR policies, and labor practices.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional multinational communication skills, a strategic yet service-oriented approach, and a proven track record of team leadership and motivation. A comprehensive understanding of HR processes, technologies, and industry best practices is essential. Skills:
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within HR Shared Services, preferably in a large multinational organizations including factories.
- In-depth understanding of Egypt and MEA employment laws, regulations, and data privacy requirements.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, including employee lifecycle management, benefits administration, payroll, personnel and HRIS.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement, automation, and implementation of HR systems.
- Proven experience in HR management (COE experience a plus).
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams in multinational environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Proactive mindset, with the ability to drive change, manage ambiguity, and adapt to a dynamic business environment.
- Service-oriented, problem-solving and convincing character with a resilient personality.
- Excellent English language skills; Arabic and/or Mandarin a plus.
