Job Description :

The receptionist is the front desk representative of our dental office. You will be the first person a patient speaks to, and you are an important part of establishing the patient’s relationship with the office, attend to patients on the phone and in person. Co-ordinate and organize appointments and administration to facilitate the efficient running of the dental office.The duties of the Receptionist include, but are not limited to:Greeting patients as they arrive.Answering and managing incoming calls in a timely and polite manner.Scheduling and cancelling patient appointments.Scheduling next appointment for patients before leaving the clinic.Completing and filing insurance forms and dental billing records.Translating dental services into proper billable codes.Managing office inventory and supplies.Communicating with dental supply vendors.Handling test results including x-rays.Handling Lab deliveries.Office duties including document filing, scanning, and creating new files.Use dental software for patients filing and appointments management.Monitor people coming and going through the reception doors.Register new patients according to established office protocols.Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation.Verify and update patient information.Inform patients of dental office procedures and policy.Move patients through appointments as scheduled.Enter all relevant patient information into data system.Maintain and manage patient records in compliance with privacy and security regulations.Respond and comply to requests for information.Confirm upcoming appointments and recalls according to office protocol.Check daily appointment schedule.fill in cancellations and no-shows.Dispatch lab work appropriately.Collect and receipt payments from patients at time of treatment.Inform patients of financial treatment plan options.Arrange payment schedule with patients.Update  and manage patient education materials in reception area.Maintain a professional reception area.Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality.

Job Requirements :

An understanding of dental office procedures and workflow.Bachelor degree of higher education.English language Fluency is a must.Excellent phone and in-person communication skills.Organization, time management and multitasking abilities.Computer literacy in basic applications like email and Microsoft Office.
