JOB SUMMARY

  • Serve as the front line for the team, greeting patients, collecting payments, verifying personal and billing information, and performing all clerical duties necessary to prepare patient visits
  • Must be bright, cheery, welcoming and take pride in going the extra mile to exceed our patient’s expectations.
  • The receptionist must be confident, respectful, positive and self-motivated in taking the initiative in making the team and patients the #1 priority. 
  • Boost clinic reputation by building friendly, trusting relationships with patients

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Comply with all medical and clinic protocols and administrate services with the highest standards of care.
  • Optimizes patient satisfaction, provider time, and room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone with grace, even during peak demand.
  • Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patients’ arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays.
  • Inform patient about new services and discounts
  • Update all database information’s required upon patient’s entry to exit 
  • Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
  • Process transactions (cash and credit cards) and issue receipts
  • Marketing and selling products and treatments; exemplary closing efforts (Cross-sell services and products when appropriate (e.g. through informative brochures and gift cards)
  • Communicate with staff members to facilitate the coordination of work and patient schedules
  • Work in collaboration with the clinic staff’s in order to ensure patients receive timely care.
  • Performs other necessary duties as required to support the clinic and ensure patient flow.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of data collected and stored is maintained.
  • Handle and support the resolution of complaints in a timely and responsive manner, including the provision of an escalation pathway when needed
  • Observe and lead the attendant to always be in the clinic 
  • Act as the best Host to the patients.
  • Ensure to maintain the quality and standards of the clinic
  • Comply with the clinic’s policies, procedures and protocols
  • Comply with Kuwait’s Ministry of Health laws and regulation
