Job Description:
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify product opportunities and trends.
• Develop new product concepts based on customer needs, innovation strategy, and company objectives.
• Design product prototypes, or models using lab testing or simulation tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, quality, production) to bring products from concept to launch.
• Test and evaluate prototypes for functionality, performance, and durability.
• Analyze materials, ingredients, or components and select the most suitable ones.
• Improve or optimize existing products for better cost-efficiency, performance, or sustainability.
• Document product development processes, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
• Assist in scaling up the product from lab/pilot phase to full production.
• Stay up to date with technological advancements and innovation in the field.
Skills:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, Product Design, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product development or R&D .
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Experience in lab work, prototyping, or production processes (depending on industry).
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and quality systems (e.g., ISO, FDA, GMP).
• Proficient in documentation, reporting, and using R&D software/tools.
• Creativity and innovation mindset with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
