Job Description:**Job Summary:**

The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Hamra Beach is seeking a strategic and experienced Hotel Operations Leader. This management position entails oversight of various operational departments, including Front Office, Recreation/Health Club, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage/Culinary, and Engineering/Maintenance. The successful candidate will collaborate with department heads to develop and implement strategies that align with the brand’s service standards and initiatives. Responsibilities include ensuring operational efficiency, meeting customer needs, fostering employee satisfaction, maximizing revenue, and cultivating positive owner relations. The role requires developing and implementing property-wide strategies to exceed customer and employee expectations while delivering a strong return on investment.

**Candidate Profile:**

* A minimum of a two-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field, coupled with four years of relevant experience in guest services, front desk operations, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or a related professional area.

* Alternatively, a four-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field, along with two years of experience in the aforementioned areas, is acceptable.

**Core Work Activities:**

* **Managing Profitability:** Analyze service issues, identify trends, and make strategic decisions to achieve property goals. Collaborate with the hotel management team to develop and execute an operational strategy aligned with the brand’s business objectives.

* **Managing Revenue Goals:** Monitor sales performance against budget, review financial statements, and coach the operations team to manage occupancy, rate, wages, and controllable expenses effectively. Address problem areas through coaching and accountability.

* **Leading Operations and Department Teams:** Champion the brand’s service vision, develop systems to understand guest satisfaction, and communicate clear departmental goals to achieve desired results.

* **Managing the Guest Experience:** Review guest feedback, implement corrective actions, and maintain regular interaction with customers to gather feedback on product quality, service levels, and overall satisfaction. Foster an atmosphere that exceeds guest expectations in all Rooms and Food and Beverage areas.

* **Managing and Conducting Human Resources Activities:** Develop creative solutions to improve guest satisfaction, ensure fair treatment of employees, and facilitate regular communication within Operations. Foster employee commitment to excellent service, model desired behaviors, and incorporate guest satisfaction into staff meetings. Set goals, provide performance reviews, solicit employee feedback, and address employee concerns. Ensure consistent administration of property policies, disciplinary procedures, and documentation according to Standard and Local Operating Procedures (SOPs and LSOPs). Champion change and ensure the implementation of brand and regional business initiatives.
