Job Description:We are seeking a qualified QA Lead/Test Lead to manage the quality assurance process, guaranteeing the dependability, security, and efficacy of software applications. The successful applicant will possess substantial expertise in test automation, CI/CD integration, and Agile testing methodologies. This position necessitates practical experience in both manual and automated testing, alongside demonstrated leadership capabilities to direct and mentor the QA team.
**Core Responsibilities:**
1. **Test Strategy and Planning:**
* Establish and execute the QA strategy, test plans, and testing procedures within an Agile Scrum environment.
* Ensure comprehensive test coverage encompassing functional, regression, performance, security, and API testing.
* Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and DevOps engineers to harmonize testing initiatives with business objectives.
2. **Test Execution and Automation:**
* Spearhead the development and implementation of automated test scripts for web and API testing.
* Establish and maintain test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, RestAssured).
* Ensure seamless integration of automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
* Supervise manual testing procedures in situations where automation is impractical.
3. **Agile Testing and Continuous Quality Improvement:**
* Promote shift-left testing principles, ensuring proactive engagement in the development lifecycle.
* Oversee Exploratory Testing, Smoke Testing, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) activities.
* Define and monitor key QA metrics (e.g., defect density, test coverage, test execution rate).
* Champion the adoption of TDD (Test-Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) practices.
4. **Performance and Security Testing:**
* Direct performance and load testing efforts utilizing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
* Enforce adherence to security testing best practices, identifying vulnerabilities through penetration testing and API security assessments.
5. **Team Leadership and Collaboration:**
* Lead and mentor the QA team, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development.
* Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to enhance software quality.
* Conduct code reviews of test scripts and ensure adherence to testing best practices.
