Job Description:
Responsible for ensuring that operations meet the required standards of quality before they are released to customers. This role involves testing, inspecting, and monitoring quality at various stages of the operation process.
– Inspect and test materials, parts, and products for defects or deviations from quality standards.
– Perform routine quality checks during different stages of the operations process.
– Identify, record, and report quality issues or discrepancies to operations teams.
– Calibrate and maintain equipment used in quality testing.
– Ensure compliance with company and industry standards, as well as regulatory requirements.
– Analyze data and compile reports on quality and trends.
– Work with operation teams to implement corrective actions when quality issues arise.
– Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving for quality-related issues.
– Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
– Assist in audits and certifications as required.
Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
– Proven experience in quality control or a similar role, preferably in [specific industry, e.g., manufacturing, Hospitality, food production].
– Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
– Familiarity with quality control tools and techniques (e.g., statistical analysis, root cause analysis).
– Good communication skills to interact with teams and report findings effectively.
– Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality control software tools.
**Physical Requirements**:
– Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time.
**Working Conditions**:
– May be required to work in a production environment, where noise, and machinery are present.
