As a Quality Assurance Junior Engineer, you will assume a critical role in upholding the quality and reliability of our software products. Your responsibilities will encompass the planning and execution of tests on features of simple to moderate complexity, the identification and reporting of defects, and the communication of test results to relevant stakeholders across various functions. Your efforts will directly contribute to the maintenance of rigorous software quality standards, the enhancement of user satisfaction, and the overall success of our development initiatives. Key duties include: collaborating with senior team members to ensure alignment on project objectives and decision-making; developing comprehensive test cases for well-defined features to ensure thorough validation; identifying, documenting, and prioritizing defects discovered during testing to facilitate timely resolution; creating detailed bug reports to enable effective investigation and resolution by the development team; planning and executing testing on features of simple to moderate complexity while communicating status updates, including fundamental quality risk assessments, to stakeholders to maintain project transparency and informed decision-making; developing and maintaining automated test scripts to streamline the testing process and enhance efficiency; and conducting regression testing to verify the continued functionality of previously developed and tested software following modifications and updates.
