Job Description:The following outlines the responsibilities pertaining to Quality Assurance:
- Oversee and implement quality assurance protocols throughout the entirety of the production process, encompassing spinning, weaving/knitting, dyeing, and finishing stages.
- Conduct inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress items, and finished goods to verify adherence to established specifications.
- Generate and maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including test reports, inspection logs, and audit findings.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify the origin of defects and collaborate with production teams to enact corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans.
- Provide support for both internal and external audits, including ISO certifications, customer audits, and compliance inspections.
- Maintain and calibrate quality testing equipment in conjunction with the laboratory team.
- Provide training to production personnel on quality standards and methodologies for defect prevention.
- Develop and uphold Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all Quality Assurance related processes.
- Engage with the Research and Development, Production, and Maintenance departments to facilitate product development and process enhancement initiatives.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the textile or garment industry.
- Strong knowledge of textile processes, quality standards (ISO 9001, OEKO-TEX, etc.), and testing methods.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with quality tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, Pareto Analysis).
- Good command of Microsoft Office and quality reporting software.
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
