Job Description:**AtkinsRéalis is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor for a position in Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.**

The successful candidate will join an established professional team committed to technical integrity, innovation, and employee development. This role, based at the client’s site offices, will be part of an existing commercial team and will encompass both pre- and post-contract responsibilities.

**Key responsibilities include:**

**Pre-Contract:**

* Value Engineering
* Cash flow forecasting
* Whole Life Costing
* Risk management
* Cost Planning and Estimating (BCIS and NRM1)
* Bills of Quantities production (POMI and CESSM3)
* Tender services (compilation, analysis, negotiation, and recommendations)
* Contract drafting (FIDIC)

**Post-Contract:**

* Management of bonds, insurances, and guarantee logs
* Interim valuations and payment certificates
* Variations analysis, recommendations, and management
* Risk and value management and cost control
* Cost analysis project work
* Identification, analysis, and response to commercial risks
* Preparation of progress and cost reports
* Reporting to the Associate Director on all commercial issues
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
* Attendance and representation at commercial meetings

**Qualifications and Experience:**

* MRICS accreditation or active APC candidate (with a specified timeframe for completion of chartership).
* Experience in the entertainment complex sector.
* Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized university.
* Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience.
* Minimum of five (5) years of international experience in the UAE/KSA region.
* Minimum of three (3) years of experience working within a consultant and/or client organization.
* Proficiency in Quantity Surveying software (Cost X or similar).
* Knowledge of SAP and Aconex (preferred).
* Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
* Proven project background and technical writing ability in English.
