Job Description
- Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health for trainees & staff.
- Responsible for the Academy QHSE Processes and procedures and manage it to ensure the Academy mentions its accreditation.
- Conduct Audits to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and procedures, Identifying and assisting implementing improvements.
- Maintain awareness of QHSE regulations and the best practices within EWA staff.
- Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
- Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
- Maintaining internal and external reporting according to established systems
Skills
4-5 years experience in QHSE (HSE , Quality , Audit , KPIs ,ISO )
Bs degree
Fluent in English
• Proven QHSE certificate from a highly regulated industry.
- Excellent and topical knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
- Professional approach, coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to work in, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to work co-operatively with others to complete tasks and implement process improvements
- Establishing workplace safety and health committees.
- Knowledge of decontamination procedures.
- Knowledge of good safety practices.
- Ability to maintain effective work relationships with people from all social backgrounds.
- Knowledge of first aid methods and techniques.
