Job Description:
Job Description: Sourcing, negotiating, and procuring high-quality seeds and plant materials.
Responsibilities:
Procurement & Sourcing
1. Develop a reliable supplier base (farmers and cooperatives).
2. Ensure materials meet organic or specific quality standards.
3. Negotiate pricing and contracts.
4. Track supplier performance (price, reliability, quality).
Cross-functional Collaboration
5. Coordinate with QA/QC to ensure RM lots are accepted in lab-tests (Moisture, Microbial & pesticide limits).
6. Work with production and sales teams to forecast seed needs.
7. Schedule deliveries to align with production plans.
8. Minimize overstock and shortages.
9. Ensure documentation of origin and CoA.
Skills:
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSc in Agriculture or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- At least 2 years of experience in Purchasing.
- Living in upper Egypt, specially El- Faiyum, or Bani Suif.
- Experience in botanical raw materials, ideally for cosmetic/pharma use.
- Negotiation and contract management skills
