Job Description:**Protection Testing Engineer – Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia**

Siemens is seeking a qualified Protection Testing Engineer to join our Smart Infrastructure Customer Service division in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a key contributor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of our clients’ electrical systems. **Responsibilities:**

* Perform testing and maintenance on medium and low voltage switchgear, including CT, VT, CR tests, and CB timing.
* Conduct advanced protection function testing, including busbar, distance, and line/transformer differential.
* Troubleshoot HV, MV, and LV electrical systems and analyze faults to identify root causes.
* Work with Siemens SIPROTEC 5 & 4 and Reyrolle protection relays, as well as ABB, GE, and SEL protection relays.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering or equivalent certification.
* Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
* Proven technical expertise in medium and low voltage switchgear, including testing and commissioning.
* Extensive experience in protection relay testing (e.g., Siemens and other major vendors).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with demonstrated skills in critical thinking, organization, communication, job coordination, creative thinking, programming, and leadership.
* Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
