Lead and direct mechanical engineering projects, encompassing all phases from initial conceptualization to final completion, within a food manufacturing context.
Coordinate interdepartmental teams to guarantee the fulfillment of project objectives, adherence to established timelines, and compliance with budgetary constraints.
Supervise the installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment located within production facilities.
Generate and critically assess technical specifications, engineering drawings, and comprehensive documentation for both newly acquired and existing machinery.
Identify and implement process enhancements designed to optimize operational efficiency, improve safety protocols, and elevate product quality standards.
Ensure that all mechanical engineering activities are conducted in full compliance with relevant industry benchmarks, applicable safety regulations, and established company policies.
Diagnose and rectify mechanical malfunctions encountered during project execution and within the framework of routine operational procedures.
Collaborate with external vendors and contractors in the procurement of equipment and materials, with a focus on maintaining quality standards and maximizing cost-effectiveness.
Produce and present comprehensive project status reports, formal proposals, and detailed technical documentation for executive review.
Provide support for continuous improvement programs and actively contribute to the formulation of best-practice methodologies in the field of mechanical engineering.
