Job Description:**Core Responsibilities:**
* **Project Planning and Initiation:** Formulate comprehensive project execution plans that adhere to the approved master schedule and budgetary constraints. Facilitate the coordinated mobilization of necessary resources, encompassing personnel, equipment, and materials. Scrutinize and interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) drawings.
* **Project Implementation and Oversight:** Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality benchmarks, and safety protocols. Manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to achieve established project milestones. Guarantee the timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment.
* **Stakeholder Engagement:** Serve as the primary liaison with the project consultant, client, and other relevant stakeholders. Conduct and preside over routine site meetings, and generate progress reports and presentations. Promote seamless communication and coordination between the consultant, client, and internal teams.
* **Documentation and Reporting:** Prepare, review, and maintain all pertinent project documentation, including Requests for Information (RFI), Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), Inspection Requests (IR), shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals. Ensure meticulous documentation of site instructions, change orders, claims, and variations. Monitor project progression against baseline schedules and formulate recovery strategies as required.
* **Cost Management and Quality Assurance:** Monitor project costs, manage expenditures, and provide financial forecasts and reports. Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure adherence to established standards and specifications. Ensure the proper implementation of quality assurance and control procedures.
* **Project Completion and Transfer:** Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover procedures in conjunction with the consultant and client. Finalize outstanding items lists and complete closeout documentation, including As-Built drawings and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
Skills:
Experience: 10–15 years of progressive experience in residential construction projects, with at least 5 years in a project management role.
Industry Background: Construction company with exposure to working with consultants and private/public owners.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in project management software (Primavera P6 / MS Project)
Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and local construction regulations
Excellent understanding of construction methodologies and project lifecycle
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
High level of organization and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts effectively
