Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineering Monitor Section Head to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project engineering and monitoring, with a proven track record of leading successful projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of project engineering monitors in monitoring and evaluating the progress and performance of engineering projects
- Develop and implement monitoring strategies and tools to track and report on project progress, milestones, and budget
- Collaborate with project engineers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met within scope and timelines
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project performance
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on project status, challenges, and recommendations for improvement
- Mentor and provide guidance to staff members to ensure high performance and professional growth
Skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in project engineering and monitoring, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in project management software and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- PMP certification is a plus
