Job Description:WOLFFKRAN for Equipment seeks a highly skilled Project Cost Controller to contribute to a prominent giga-project in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure efficient execution within budgetary constraints, providing regular progress reports, and will contribute to all reporting requirements.
**Responsibilities:**
* Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets, identifying and reporting variances.
* Verify accurate time allocation to projects.
* Generate Percentage of Completion sheets monthly, discuss with Project Managers, and submit to Accounting.
* Analyze cost variances and provide insights for corrective actions.
* Collaborate with the Delivery Director, Finance Director, Supply Chain Manager and Commercial Manager to prepare reports and monthly forecasts (income, cost, and cash flow).
* Participate in project reviews, providing financial updates to stakeholders.
* Record minutes of cost control and PMO meetings.
* Ensure adherence to cost control procedures across all projects.
* Report to the Managing Director and Finance Director on Project Managers’ and the Operations Department’s KPI achievement.
* Monitor supplier costs in relation to purchase orders and received invoices.
* Support monthly and quarterly closings and report generation.
**Authorities:**
* Approve project purchases, expenses, and amendments within the Business Plan, escalating significant cost deviations requiring management intervention to the Company Board and Managing Director for final approval.
**Qualifications:**
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
* Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in project cost controlling, change control, and reporting within construction projects.
* Demonstrated understanding and experience in forecasting, budget management, commitments, Estimated Final Cost (EFC) and cash flow management.
* Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multifunctional stakeholders, including schedulers/planners, finance, and risk management professionals.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP and/or Odoo is desirable.
