Job Description:The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of the production process. Key responsibilities include: ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations and company policies during production; executing and documenting process validation activities to guarantee manufacturing process reliability and consistent output; meticulously reviewing batch records to confirm the accurate completion and documentation of all manufacturing steps; providing training and development to production personnel on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GMP regulations; monitoring and maintaining the quality of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods; identifying and implementing process improvements to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste; maintaining comprehensive records of production activities, including batch records, logbooks, and other pertinent documentation; collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, such as Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Research & Development, to ensure seamless production operations; monitoring the maintenance of production equipment and facilities; enforcing adherence to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment; overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispensing of raw materials and packaging materials; assisting in the development and management of production schedules to ensure timely completion of production runs; investigating and resolving issues that arise during production shifts; and potentially participating in the development and optimization of new production processes.
