Job Description
- Carry out process operations for production of chemicals and chemical formulations required for water treatment, oilfield, lubricants, and specialty chemical applications.
- Ensure all production stages are done according to the approved process parameters.
- Achieve the quality goals for the end products manufactured.
- Ensure the quality of chemicals ingredients prior to use in the process.
- Oversee daily production operations
- To manage shift production for all product lines with available resources and meeting the quality standards
- Create weekly plan for production and organizing workmen to achieve target output of the shift
- Oversee the daily production operations and implement weekly production plan to finish production as per the delivery date
- Maintain production specifications and product standards while reducing overall cost to maximize productivity and profitability
- Maintain and verify all production records specifically batch records and employee timesheets
- Maintain and verify all production records for various internal and external audits
- Actively compile data and generate comprehensive reports documenting findings and suggesting improvements.
- Monitor performance of workers reporting to them.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs or maintenance.
Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering.
- 03-05 years of experience working within the specialty chemicals manufacturing industry.
- Experience and familiarity with Manufacturing Equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory standards applicable to chemical manufacturing.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in ISO 9001 and related certifications is preferred
