Job Description:**Responsibilities:**

The incumbent will be responsible for providing guidance to operators on PVC compounding lines to ensure optimal production processes. This includes conducting materials testing to verify adherence to established quality and safety standards, scheduling production and orders to guarantee timely delivery and efficient resource allocation, and inspecting and adjusting machine settings to uphold product quality. Furthermore, the incumbent will assist the Chemist Manager in overseeing production processes and resolving any operational issues. A crucial aspect of the role involves identifying and troubleshooting quality deviations, followed by the prompt implementation of corrective actions. The preparation of comprehensive and precise reports, based on meticulous data collection and analysis, is also required. The maintenance and regular updating of data sheets, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and other pertinent documentation are essential. Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and quality standards is paramount. Effective collaboration with operators and other team members is necessary to optimize production processes. The incumbent must be capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Continuous professional development through staying abreast of new technologies and processes in the field is expected. Finally, the incumbent will perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates to 2 years of experience, including internships in a manufacturing or laboratory setting preferred plastic or PVC manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for conducting tests, analyzing data, and generating accurate reports.
  • Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment, particularly in testing plastic materials.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with operators.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and report generation.
  • Ability to create and update data sheets, MSDS, and other technical documents.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and quality standards.
  • Must be a resident of 10th of Ramadan City, Sharqia.
  • Preferred women candidates will be considered for this role, as per the company’s policy or preference.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods and engage in physical activities such as walking.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Experience in quality control and assurance in a manufacturing setting.
