Run what runs the worldIn this role, you will have the opportunity to drive the product marketing and business development activities for the Emergency Lighting (EML) portfolio across the United Arab Emirates, in line with the global strategy. You will play a pivotal role in shaping market demand, supporting the sales organization, and ensuring sustainable business growth by promoting ABB’s differentiated solutions to consultants, contractors, and end users.The work model for the role is on-site This role contributes to the Emergency Lighting Business Line within the Smart Buildings Division, Electrification Business Area.Main stakeholders are Regional Business Manager MEA, Country Sales Teams, Global Product Management, and Local Partners/Distributors.This Position reports to:Regional Business Manager MEA, Country Sales Teams, Global Product Management, and Local Partners/Distributors.We value people from different backgrounds. Apply today or visit careers.abb to read more about us and learn about the impact of our solutions across the globe.Owning and executing the product marketing strategy for the EML portfolio in the United Arab Emirates, defining value propositions, positioning, and competitive differentiation in alignment with the global strategy; and driving business development initiatives with key consultants, contractors, and end users to generate sustainable growth in specifications and project pipelines.Identifying and developing new market opportunities, expanding channel coverage, and ensuring ABB’s solutions are specified in major projects across the UAE; and implementing marketing and promotional activities, including seminars, trainings, and campaigns, to enhance brand awareness and market penetration.Supporting sales performance, monitoring key performance indicators, and ensuring accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and specifications in SFDC.Collaborating across functions to align marketing and sales efforts, ensuring consistent messaging and execution across all customer touchpoints while driving long-term value creation for the EML portfolio in the UAE.Our Team DynamicsYou will join a driven and collaborative regional team that values innovation, ownership, and customer focus. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the Middle East & Africa, where your ideas and initiatives can make a tangible business impact.Qualifications For The RoleMinimum of 5 years of experience in Product Marketing, Business Development, or Specification Sales within the Building Solutions, Emergency Lighting, or Electrical Industry, with a proven ability to develop and execute strategies that deliver measurable growth.Strong knowledge of consultant and contractor ecosystems in the United Arab Emirates, with experience managing relationships with major accounts and government entities.Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Arabic, with a degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.Skilled in using Salesforce (SFDC) and MS Office tools for opportunity management and reporting; passionate about innovation, customer engagement, and teamwork, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.We empower you to take the lead, share bold ideas, and shape real outcomes.
