Job Description:**Product Design Lead – AI Assistant Team at Agoda**

Agoda is seeking a Product Design Lead to join our AI Assistant team, contributing to the development of next-generation AI-powered travel experiences. This position, based in our Bangkok office, offers the opportunity to shape the future of conversational travel through innovative design.

The Design team is a diverse group of product designers and researchers dedicated to building Agoda’s products. As a product-driven company, we collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to understand user needs and design effective workflows, interactions, and visual interfaces. This role provides a unique opportunity to influence product strategy and contribute to meaningful change.

**Responsibilities:**

* Lead the end-to-end design of AI and chat-based experiences across web and mobile applications.
* Translate complex AI capabilities into clear and user-friendly interfaces.
* Develop prototypes and user flows that prioritize clarity, trust, and efficiency.
* Ensure high UX and visual design standards, aligned with Agoda’s overall design vision.
* Collaborate with design leadership, product managers, engineers, researchers, analysts, and content designers to define product direction and development processes.
* Utilize data-driven insights, research, and industry best practices to inform design decisions.
* Manage and mentor a small team of 2-3 designers, fostering growth and creativity.
* Provide regular feedback, conduct design reviews, and support career development for team members.
* Contribute to the development of design culture, systems, and quality across the organization.
* Serve as a thought partner to senior stakeholders in Product, Data Science, and Engineering.

**Qualifications:**

* 7+ years of experience in product or interaction design with a demonstrated track record.
* Experience designing for conversational interfaces, chatbots, or AI-powered systems.
* A robust portfolio demonstrating user-centered design principles and high-quality execution.
* Proven ability to simplify complex information architecture and interaction flows.
* Experience leading design discussions and collaborating cross-functionally.
* Mentorship or people management experience is preferred.
* Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), natural language UX, or multimodal interactions is advantageous.
* A data-informed approach, utilizing research, analytics, and best practices to guide design decisions and validate ideas.

**Desired Attributes:**

* Background in voice UX, multimodal interfaces, or customer support tools.
* Experience with localization and designing for multilingual audiences.
* Familiarity with personalization engines or recommendation systems.
* Prior experience in the travel, e-commerce, or large-scale B2C platform sectors.
