Job Description:

About the Role

House Babylon is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement & Sales Specialist to oversee product development, supplier coordination, logistics, internal operations, and business development. This is a multi-functional role bridging procurement, production, project management, and sales to ensure smooth delivery of our premium lifestyle products while contributing to the growth of Studio Babylon.

 

Key Responsibilities

Project & Operations Management

  • Coordinate across design, production, and logistics to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met. 
  • Track timelines, priorities, and deliverables across multiple projects. 
  • Take ownership of projects and ensure smooth execution across teams. 

Production & Quality Coordination

  • Manage production schedules and follow up with suppliers and manufacturers. 
  • Monitor quality standards and ensure timely execution. 
  • Follow up on contracts, production milestones, and deliverables. 

Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve quality, cost, and delivery objectives. 
  • Create and manage purchase orders accurately. 
  • Coordinate with suppliers and the finance team to ensure smooth processing and timely payments. 
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor performance.  

Logistics & Inventory

  • Coordinate shipments, warehouse operations, and store deliveries. 
  • Support logistics planning for events and special projects. 

Studio Babylon Orders

  • Manage all Studio Babylon orders where House Babylon acts as the supplier. 
  • Coordinate production, fulfilment, and delivery processes. 

Sales & Business Development

  • Support the growth of Studio Babylon by identifying and developing new client opportunities. 
  • Follow up on leads and inquiries to convert them into orders. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, architects, interior designers, and partners. 
  • Contribute to achieving Studio Babylon sales targets and expanding the client base. 
  • Receive a 2.5% commission on the value of Studio Babylon orders generated and successfully secured by the employee
