The incumbent is responsible for the strategic management of the procurement function, encompassing the development, implementation, and oversight of procurement strategies. This includes the formulation of negotiation strategies, management of contracts and agreements, and the proactive anticipation of market trends and price fluctuations to inform procurement decisions. Further responsibilities include conducting cost analyses, evaluating and mitigating procurement-related risks, monitoring purchase requests to ensure timely fulfillment, and cultivating a diverse and robust supplier base. The incumbent will also work to optimize pricing and payment terms with suppliers to align with budgetary constraints.

Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in procurement, specifically within facilities management, Commercial.
  • Strong background in vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost reduction strategies for facilities services (e.g., maintenance, security, cleaning, HVAC, MEP).
  • Experience managing procurement for hard and soft FM services (mechanical, electrical,  landscaping, security, janitorial services, etc.).
  • Strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure the best terms and pricing with suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
