Job Description:**Procurement Manager – Abu Dhabi (Immediate Start)**
We are seeking a highly qualified Procurement Manager with a proven track record in the construction, manufacturing, and transport industries to assume responsibility for the strategic procurement of all materials, equipment, and services essential to our project portfolio. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Abu Dhabi, requiring immediate availability.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to guarantee the timely and cost-effective acquisition of resources for construction projects.
* Identify, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers; negotiate contracts and agreements; and manage ongoing supplier relationships.
* Review and approve purchase orders, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
* Monitor market dynamics and pricing trends to identify potential cost reduction opportunities.
* Collaborate closely with project management teams to define project requirements and ensure the prompt delivery of necessary resources.
* Work in conjunction with the finance department to manage budgets and track procurement-related expenditures.
* Conduct regular performance assessments of suppliers and recommend areas for improvement.
* Ensure full compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements governing procurement activities.
* Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and other relevant personnel.
**Qualifications and Skills:**
* A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field is required.
* A minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive experience in procurement, ideally within the construction sector.
* Certification in CPPM (Certified Professional Procurement Manager) or CPP (Certified Purchasing Professional) is highly desirable.
* Demonstrable expertise in procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
* Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
* Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects concurrently.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software applications.
* Comprehensive knowledge of local and international procurement laws and regulations.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
