Job Description:**Procurement Manager**

The Procurement Manager is responsible for the comprehensive oversight of the procurement process, ensuring the timely acquisition of high-quality materials and services at competitive prices to effectively support project objectives and uphold stringent standards of quality and safety.

**Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement strategic procurement plans that are aligned with project timelines, scopes of work, and budgetary limitations.
* Manage and coordinate the complete tendering process, including the preparation of tender documentation, communication with bidders, management of clarifications, evaluation of tenders, and formulation of award recommendations.
* Establish and maintain robust relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure reliability, quality delivery, and competitive pricing structures.
* Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and service agreements to secure advantageous conditions for the company.
* Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, commercial teams, and other internal stakeholders to ensure procurement activities are fully aligned with and supportive of project requirements.
* Monitor market trends, material prices, and supply chain conditions; assess and onboard new suppliers to enhance procurement efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
* Prepare and maintain accurate procurement records, comparative analyses, reports, and comprehensive documentation to support budgeting, forecasting, and audit requirements.
* Ensure strict adherence to company policies, contractual standards, legal regulations, and safety requirements throughout all procurement activities.
* Track procurement schedules and long-lead items, proactively mitigating potential delays and risks.
* Promote transparency and adherence to internal governance protocols throughout all procurement and contracting processes.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Demonstrated experience (minimum 5 years) as a Procurement Manager within main contractor companies.
* Comprehensive understanding of construction materials, equipment, and market dynamics specific to the United Arab Emirates.
* Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with a proven ability to cultivate strong supplier relationships.
* Proficiency in the use of procurement software and MS Office applications.
* Ability to perform effectively under pressure, manage multiple projects concurrently, and meet stringent deadlines.
* Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is desirable.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
* Current residency in the UAE and familiarity with the UAE supplier market and prevailing rates.
* Ten (10) or more years of experience in the UAE, with a specific focus on high-rise building projects.
