Job Description:Formulate and execute procurement strategies aligned with project demands and schedules, encompassing the identification, assessment, and negotiation with vendors and subcontractors to procure competitively priced, high-quality materials. Facilitate the generation of purchase orders, contracts, and agreements adhering to organizational protocols. Collaborate with project management, engineering, and relevant stakeholders to guarantee the punctual provisioning of resources. Supervise vendor performance and cultivate robust vendor relationships to uphold dependability and quality assurance. Conduct market analyses to discover emergent suppliers, products, and prospective cost efficiencies. Scrutinize technical specifications to verify procured items conform to established project standards. Administer procurement documentation, records, and reports to facilitate auditing and regulatory compliance. Expedite the resolution of supply chain disruptions, discrepancies, or delays to mitigate potential impacts on project timelines. Contribute to the advancement of continuous improvement initiatives pertaining to procurement processes and cost containment.
Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the engineering or construction industry.
- Proven ability to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with contract management and supplier evaluation.
- Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.
