Job Title: Portfolio and Product Performance SpecialistTerm: 12 monthsLocation: Abu Dhabi, UAEDivision: CardsReports to: TBCPURPOSE OF THE PROJECTThe Portfolio & Product Performance Specialist is responsible for monitoring, analysing, and optimising the performance of the product and portfolio suite offerings in the region. They work to ensure that products meet business objectives (growth, profitability, market share) and deliver value to clients and end-users. This role acts as the internal champion of product performance: synthesising data, identifying trends and risks, and working cross-functionally to improve product health, portfolio mix, and operational effectiveness. Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities:P&L accountability, monitor revenues, costs, and profits on monthly and quarterly basisInitiate and run sales and marketing activities in collaboration with channel, marketing, and IT teamsMonitor card portfolio health e.g. card transaction approval rates, growth in spend, credit limit utilisation, pricing, etc. and take necessary action to remediate negative trendsMonitor scheme costs and compliance issues and ensure efficient cost managementIdentify acquisition opportunities focusing on cross-sell for the short-termDesign the ideal campaigns based on an understanding of the client capabilities and prioritiesCollaborate with client and internal teams to define new products and optimisationProgram manage new product launch by coordinating across all stakeholdersImplement relevant projects with company related to Tokenization, virtual cards etc.Working with marketing, communication, IT, and operations teams to monitor customer experience issues related to declines, fraud and chargebacksAddress technical issues with card products with the relevant operations and IT teams Knowledge and Experience:Experience monitoring and managing a diverse product portfolio, including performance analysis and optimisation strategiesThe ability to analyse revenue, profitability, and other financial metrics to assess product and portfolio performance Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives, product launches, and portfolio improvement projectsCollaborating with multiple teams and key stakeholders and communicating findings & recommendations to senior management with clarityMandatory Skills:The ability to analyse large datasets, identify trends, and extract actionable insights to inform product and portfolio decisionsYou can assess product and portfolio profitability, revenue performance, and other key financial metricsStrong ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive improvements in product performance and portfolio mixAbility to clearly present findings, recommendations, and insights to senior management and internal teams Preferred Skills:Exposure to managing products through their full lifecycle from launch to optimization and retirementProficiency in Arabic in addition to English to support regional client and stakeholder communication
