Job Description

Responsibilities: Install, assemble, and maintain pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems. Install and connect appliances such as sinks, toilets, dishwashers, and water heaters. Layout and plan plumbing systems according to specifications and building codes. Diagnose plumbing problems and perform necessary repairs. Repair or replace broken pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing components. Conduct regular maintenance checks to prevent plumbing issues and ensure system efficiency. Upgrade outdated plumbing systems to meet current codes and standards. Install energy-efficient systems and fixtures to enhance sustainability and reduce costs. Adhere to all safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and regulations. Conduct inspections to identify potential hazards and address them promptly. Communicate effectively with clients to explain plumbing issues and solutions. Provide estimates for plumbing work and ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize disruption to clients. Other duties as assigned.

Skills
Required Educational Qualifications & Work Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program is preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a plumber in residential and commercial settings. Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and tolerate various weather conditions.—————————————————————————————————————————————————————Competencies Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to make independent sound judgment.   Ability to effectively interact with a multicultural workforce.
