Job Description
Level of Responsibility:
- Full Plant.
Level of Communication:
- Internal Communication: with all the employees
- External Communication: Suppliers, Subcontractors, Consultant, Client and official authorities.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in wastewater treatment processes including physical, chemical, and biological processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field with relevant work experience.
- Able to analyze data and identify trends and patterns related to treatment process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Handle contractual communication with stake holders, reviewing contracts, analyzing the situation, reviewing history and preparing official letters accordingly.
- Proficient in using computer programs and software related to process design, data analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions in wastewater treatment processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Skills
Technical Knowledge:
- Chemistry
Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo. This includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods.
- Computers & Software
Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming, mastering Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook…)
- English Language
Must have developed language skills to the point to be able to: Read and comprehend English (policy manuals, memos, letters, books, journals, instructions, rules and regulations, etc.). Write reports and emails with proper format, punctuation, spelling and grammar.
- Mathematics
Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
- Other Skills:
Communication and organizational skills to cooperate, coordinate, supervise, manage, or train others to accomplish goals – Active Listening – Reading Comprehension – Monitoring – Complex Problem Solving – Importance of Being Exact or Accurate – Proper handling of emergency situations.
