Plant Controller

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Plant Controller to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in financial analysis and cost accounting. The Plant Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and providing valuable insights to drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
2. Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
3. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making and improve profitability.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
5. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
6. Monitor inventory levels and provide recommendations to optimize inventory management.
7. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
8. Participate in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
9. Oversee the preparation of annual audit schedules and support external auditors during the audit process.
10. Train and supervise finance staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Plant Controller or in a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of financial analysis, cost accounting, and budgeting.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
6. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
10. Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus.
11. Proficiency in SAP system (s/4hana) is highly preferred.
