Job Description:We are seeking a meticulous and highly organized **Account Manager** to supervise logistical operations, emphasizing driver management, dispatch coordination, and delivery assignment. This position necessitates exceptional communication, problem-resolution, and leadership proficiencies to guarantee efficient driver scheduling, timely delivery completion, and superior customer service.
**Core Responsibilities:**
* Oversee daily driver scheduling, dispatching, and assignment to ensure optimized delivery operations.
* Serve as the primary liaison among drivers, clients, and internal departments, resolving issues and ensuring operational fluidity.
* Monitor driver performance, routes, and delivery timelines to maximize efficiency and minimize expenditures.
* Coordinate with clients to validate delivery specifications, schedules, and specific requirements.
* Maintain precise records of driver schedules, delivery logs, and client correspondence.
* Ensure adherence to corporate policies, safety protocols, and legal mandates pertaining to transportation and logistics.
* Manage driver recruitment, onboarding, and training in conjunction with Human Resources and operations departments.
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) encompassing on-time deliveries, fuel consumption, and driver productivity.
* Cultivate and sustain robust client relationships through exemplary account management and effective problem resolution.
* Propose procedural enhancements to optimize logistical efficiency and customer satisfaction.
**Required Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a closely related field (preferred).
* Demonstrated experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet management.
* Superior organizational and multitasking capabilities.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in logistics software, dispatch systems, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Capacity to perform effectively under pressure and adapt to a dynamic environment.
* Robust problem-solving and decision-making acumen.
* Knowledge of local transportation regulations and safety norms.
