Summary/ObjectiveThis position oversees the operational activities at every level of the division. Their duties include hiring and training employees and managing quality assurance programs. They will also strategize process improvements to ensure everyone completes their tasks on schedule. Their responsibilities will include implementing the right processes and practices across the division, formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring material and resources and securing compliance, finding ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels.The position is responsible for ensuring the quality of the company’s products and services meet or exceed customer expectations. They do this by running various processes, like hiring new employees, training them in specific skill sets and procedures, and monitoring existing workers, so nothing falls through the cracks.Essential FunctionsEnsuring all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective wayImproving operational management systems, processes and best practicesHelping the organization’s processes remain legally compliantFormulate strategic and operational objectivesExamine financial data and use them to improve profitabilityManage budgets and forecastsPerform quality controls and monitor production KPIsRecruit, train and supervise staffFind ways to increase quality of customer serviceLeading the back-office team through their tasks that include: Procurement, Logistics, Pricing, Sales Order entries.Manage the coordination between Sales teams, Showrooms & WarehouseBranding & MarketingPerforms other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Skills
Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar roleKnowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations managementExperience budgeting and forecastingFamiliarity with business and financial principlesExcellent communication skillsLeadership abilityOutstanding organizational skills
