Job Description: **Position Summary:**

This role encompasses responsibility for providing exceptional customer service, managing store operations, and fostering effective people management within the designated department. The incumbent will ensure colleagues deliver world-class service through daily coaching and development. Key responsibilities include safeguarding the customer journey, prioritizing and coordinating store objectives, and addressing customer feedback promptly. This position requires adherence to company policies, procedures, and visual merchandising guidelines to optimize the customer experience and drive profitability.

**Detailed Responsibilities:**

* **Customer Service:** Provide consistent coaching to team members to elevate departmental performance and ensure the delivery of exceptional service. Actively manage the customer journey by prioritizing store objectives, coordinating departmental activities, and ensuring prompt responses to customer feedback. Deliver courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient service while maintaining clear sight lines, assisting with sizing, and providing personalized customer interactions.
* **Store Operations:** Ensure strict adherence to store opening and closing procedures. Implement appropriate store coverage plans. Execute company visual merchandising guidelines, layouts, and timelines within the department, maintaining clear sight lines and intuitive navigation. Conduct regular floor walks to identify and implement sales-driving initiatives, coaching team members on conversion rates, basket drivers, and profit optimization. Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures and controls (employee purchases, returns, damages, etc.). Implement safety procedures in accordance with company policy. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as outlined in the manual.
* **People Management:** Conduct thorough onboarding and training for new and existing staff. Manage the Performance Development Review (PDR) process for departmental colleagues and address all HR-related matters in a timely manner, adhering to company policies and procedures. Effectively manage conflicts and motivate colleagues to achieve their full potential.
