Job Description:
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for mechanical and electrical works in accordance with project specifications and drawings.
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and contract documents to determine accurate quantities and scope of work.
- Monitor and track project costs, variations, and budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and submit interim and final payment applications, ensuring compliance with contract terms.
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to project requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and review of tender documents, bills of quantities, and procurement schedules.
- Conduct site visits to verify quantities, assess progress, and resolve discrepancies between site conditions and project documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to provide cost advice and support decision-making.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of measurements, variations, and contractual correspondence.
- Support the resolution of contractual and commercial issues, including claims and dispute management.
