Job Description:**Option 1 (Focus on responsibility and oversight):**

“Assume responsibility for the comprehensive supervision and coordination of all mechanical site activities, ensuring strict adherence to project milestones and established quality standards. This encompasses the meticulous review and interpretation of mechanical drawings, specifications, and project documentation to verify compliance with stipulated design parameters. Furthermore, the role requires diligent monitoring of the installation, testing, and commissioning phases of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems. Effective communication and collaboration with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines are paramount for the timely resolution of technical challenges. Regular site inspections and rigorous quality control measures will be implemented to ensure unwavering adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements. The preparation and maintenance of comprehensive site reports, progress updates, and project documentation is essential for transparent communication with all stakeholders. Proactive identification and resolution of discrepancies or challenges within mechanical works, coupled with the proposal of effective mitigation strategies, is crucial. This position mandates the execution of all mechanical works within the constraints of the allocated budget and established timeline. Support will be provided to procurement activities through the review of material submittals and coordination with suppliers. Finally, the cultivation of a robust culture of safety and continuous improvement throughout the construction site is a primary objective.”

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical site engineering within the construction industry.
  • Proven ability to supervise and coordinate mechanical works on-site.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
