We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced **Mechanical Engineer – Team Lead** to assume responsibility for the management of our mechanical engineering team based in Egypt. The selected candidate will be accountable for directing design and supervision operations pertaining to HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other building services, while maintaining strict adherence to Egyptian codes and prevailing international standards. This pivotal role necessitates demonstrable leadership capabilities, comprehensive technical proficiency, and the capacity to effectively manage multidisciplinary coordination across a diverse portfolio of projects.

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of mechanical engineers and draftsmen, ensuring optimal task distribution and the delivery of high-quality deliverables.
* Offer technical support and professional development guidance to junior personnel.
* Oversee the preparation of technical drawings, comprehensive reports, and associated documentation.
* Supervise the design and implementation of mechanical systems, encompassing HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression, and related building services.
* Review engineering calculations, technical drawings, and detailed specifications to verify accuracy and ensure code compliance.
* Guarantee alignment with all relevant Egyptian building codes, regulatory authority requirements, and internationally recognized standards, including ASHRAE, NFPA, and BS.
* Perform value engineering analyses to optimize system performance and maximize cost-effectiveness.
* Coordinate mechanical designs in conjunction with architectural, structural, electrical, and infrastructural disciplines.
* Manage project timelines and resource allocation within the mechanical scope of work.
* Attend design coordination meetings and client presentations, providing expert technical input and delivering informative presentations as required.
* Support the preparation of technical proposals, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and comprehensive tender documents.
