Job Description:
Perform inspection, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of diesel engine problems.
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities for diesel engines.
Supervise engine overhauls, component replacements, and performance testing.
Analyze engine failures and implement corrective measures to avoid recurrence.
Maintain detailed maintenance logs, repair reports, and service records.
Ensure all diesel engine operations comply with safety and quality standards.
Provide technical guidance to technicians and maintenance teams.
Collaborate with procurement to ensure availability of required parts and tools.
Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 3–7 years of proven experience working with diesel engines (MCV Vehicles).
Solid understanding of engine systems: fuel, lubrication, cooling, intake/exhaust, etc.
Experience with diagnostic tools and software for diesel engines is a plus.
Ability to work under pressure and in field environments.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
