Job Description:AECOM is seeking a qualified and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our engineering department, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems and solutions for a variety of projects. This includes utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software to design and develop mechanical components, systems, and products; conducting analysis and testing to ensure optimal performance and reliability; collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs; creating detailed technical documentation; troubleshooting mechanical issues; participating in project planning; staying abreast of industry trends and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and collaboration skills, the ability to manage multiple projects effectively, an innovative mindset, and familiarity with project management methodologies. Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (MEng or BEng preferred)
Professional Engineering (PE) license or eligibility to obtain one
Proven 15 years of experience in delivering mechanical engineering projects in a corporate environment
Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, principles, and industry standards
Experience in sectors such as healthcare, commercial, or higher education is a plus
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to producing high-quality work
