Job Description:

  • Mechanical Site engineer 
  1. Generally responsible for implementations and monitoring of all mechanical related works at site as per approved drawings and methods and safety rules.
  2. Estimates prepare and assign resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all Mechanical and related works prior to execution. Plans and analyses all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best options to the MEP Manager for approval prior to execution at site.
  3. Interprets construction drawings and studies the contract documents and applicable standards or specifications prior to execution of any jobs.
  4. Manages directly and provide engineering and technical support to all the Mechanical work groups at the site.
  5. Plans the execution of all Mechanical related works and coordinates the works to Electrical and civic groups.
  6. Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure targets are met on daily basis for all Mechanical groups at the site.
  7. Submits site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on a regular basis or as required.
  8. Supports the MEP Manager in accomplishing all the goals and targets for the Mechanical and electrical groups at the site.
  9. Ensures that all the works have done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national or international standards.
  10. Ensures that all site works are done according to all applicable quality standards.
  11. Directly responsible for the safety of all Mechanical groups’ personnel of the project by ensuring that the project execution will be done according to all applicable health, safety, sanitary and environmental standards.
  12. Carrying out all Mechanical Works and equipment’s installation activities
  13. Attends regular meeting with a client, civil engineers, and consultant to provide an update on project progress.
  14. Pre-resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems at a site that may arise at any time
  15. To collaborate with cost control and planning department in preparing the daily progress reports
  16. Able to lead site personnel to execute and completion of a job on time at the site
  • Electrical SIte Engineer 
  1. – Responsible for site installation.
  2. – Supervise and implement the installation of all-electrical activities (LV , MV, Low current , Control, …etc).
  3. – Solving technical issues and providing advice. 
  4. – Proven past experience with infrastructure projects is a must (electrical site engineer for two projects at least).
  5. – Have an extensive knowledge about the different electrical engineering and installation fields (cable laying, earthing, switch gears, MD panels and transformer).
  6. – Should be able to get into the technical discussion with consultant engineer and develop installation and erection procedures and techniques.
  7. – Develop installation and erection procedures and techniques.
  8. – Get into the technical discussion with the consultant engineer.
  9. – Reporting reports, progress of periodic works, , determining the duration.
  10. – Supervise the electrical contractors to follow up work progress and ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions, and time schedule
  11. – Inspect and approve the completion of electrical works as per design documents
  12. – Conceptualize priorities of tasks in coordination with the project manager and other parties
  13. – Quantity survey and shop drawing preparation and as built
  14. – Monitor the budget
