The position of Marketing Director is available within a prominent Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) organization in Saudi Arabia. This role requires a highly motivated and progressive individual to direct the company’s marketing operations, with emphasis on brand activation, communications, innovation, and project management. The Marketing Director will be instrumental in achieving the company’s growth objectives through a consumer-focused strategy, leading a comprehensive marketing team, and executing impactful campaigns to enhance market presence. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of the marketing calendar, oversight of new product introductions, advocacy for innovation, and the cultivation of robust agency relationships. Key responsibilities encompass: formulating and executing an integrated marketing strategy aligned with business objectives and growth strategies; overseeing all brand development initiatives including activations, advertising, communications, and innovation; leading the development and launch of new products, ensuring alignment with market trends and consumer needs; designing and managing the annual marketing calendar, ensuring timely and effective execution; building and maintaining strong relationships with agencies; providing clear briefs to deliver best-in-class creative output; managing and developing the marketing team, fostering a high-performance culture; driving cross-functional initiatives in partnership with Research and Development, sales, and operations to deliver successful product launches; monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour to inform strategic decision-making; and managing marketing budgets efficiently to maximize Return on Investment (ROI). Essential qualifications include: demonstrable FMCG marketing experience; a minimum of fifteen years of relevant experience; fluency in Arabic; significant experience in innovation and product launch; exceptional communication and presentation skills; a proven ability to collaborate with and manage creative agencies effectively; and a dynamic, driven, and open-minded disposition with the capacity to challenge conventional practices.
