We seek a highly motivated Marine Systems Engineer possessing three to five years of experience in the fields of marine engineering, shipbuilding, or ship repair. The successful applicant will contribute to the technical development of marine systems and assume a significant role in the technical procurement of marine components. This position necessitates robust engineering acumen, meticulous attention to detail, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide support in the design and integration of marine systems, including propulsion, power generation, auxiliary machinery, and control systems.
* Conduct engineering calculations and perform reviews of technical drawings and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
* Collaborate with the procurement team to review and clarify technical specifications for marine components.
* Evaluate supplier proposals and ensure adherence to project specifications and classification society requirements.
* Assist in troubleshooting activities, quality inspections, and documentation processes.
* Ensure compliance with international regulations, such as SOLAS and MARPOL, and relevant classification standards, including those promulgated by DNV, Lloyd’s Register, and ABS.
Skills:
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field.
3–5 years of hands-on experience in the maritime industry.
Basic understanding of marine systems and procurement processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CAD knowledge is a plus.
Good command of English (written and spoken).
