Purpose of the role
Manage the existing credit cards portfolio by devising strategies to engage, grow & retain customers with an aim to build a sustainable and profitable cards business while also managing the CPV for the cards business.
Key Accountabilities
- Drive organic spend through effective customer lifecycle management and targeted campaigns.
- Implement portfolio actions strategically to enhance balance build-up and maximize spend activation.
- Develop retention strategies using predictive models and optimize customer revolve.
- Monitor authorization rates, over-limit strategies, and adherence to sourcing policies.
- Stay ahead of market innovations and competition through proactive strategies.
- Track high-risk segments for credit limit adjustments and revenue optimization.
- Manage annual campaign calendar aligned with marketing efforts and customer communications.
- Collaborate with CBIU for portfolio analytics and regulatory compliance.
- Resolve customer queries promptly and ensure legal compliance in all communications.
- Support yearly targets, collaborate with business teams, and ensure customer profitability.
Skills
Required skills and Qualifications
- MBA preferred
- At least 10 years in Retail Banking with 5 years in Credit cards Portfolio Management or similar role
- Deep understanding of Credit Card portfolio levers, customer behavior and enabling technology
- Project management tools, Analytics tools is a plus
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to draw accurate conclusions based on analysis & chalk out appropriate actions
- Strong execution skills
