**Job Title:** Maintenance Supervisor
**Summary:**
Responsible for the supervision of maintenance mechanics to ensure a 99% uptime of all equipment. Emphasis will be placed on preventative maintenance (PM) strategies to minimize breakdown rectification. The incumbent will strive to minimize equipment downtime, repair costs, and repair time through effective management and problem-solving.
**Responsibilities:**
* Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
* Supervise and provide technical guidance to mechanics in the execution of breakdown repairs, preventative maintenance, and other maintenance activities.
* Oversee capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects.
* Identify and implement alternative solutions, including sourcing superior products from vendors other than the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
* Manage daily manpower allocation.
* Coordinate with production departments to schedule and execute preventative maintenance activities.
* Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are established and adhered to for all equipment.
* Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to facilitate the procurement of necessary spare parts.
* Minimize the wastage of consumables (oils, air, water) through timely fault rectification.
* Implement and maintain accurate data entry within the SAP maintenance system, including detailed recording of breakdown information.
* Coordinate with Stores Department to ensure adequate availability of spare parts and consumables.
* Achieve and maintain compliance with 5S workplace organization standards.
**Qualifications:**
* Government Polytechnic Diploma in Engineering (3-year program following completion of 10th standard).
* Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
