Job Description:Creating maintenance schedules and delegating tasks to team membersConducting site inspections and identifying areas requiring extra maintenance workSupervising maintenance workers and ensuring they follow safe work practicesPerforming minor on-site repairsScheduling contractors for major repairs as requiredDiscussing maintenance concerns with the employer and communicating these to Maintenance WorkersStaying on-call and responding to emergency maintenance needsDeveloping maintenance budgets, hiring maintenance crew, and negotiating vendor contractsControlling and monitoring inventory Coordinating work performed by outside vendors
Job Requirements :
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.He must be a resident of Alexandria.High skills in planning and following up on maintenance workHigh supervisory and leadership skillsHigh computer skillsProficiency in spoken and written EnglishProven experience as a maintenance manager or another managerial roleExperience in planning maintenance operationsSolid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, etc.Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipmentAbility to keep track of and report on activityExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOutstanding organizational and leadership abilitiesValid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be preferred
