Job Description:The individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of customs clearance operations, ensuring compliance with relevant domestic and international regulations, and optimizing efficiency within the department. This includes preparing and submitting customs documentation, coordinating clearance procedures, classifying goods accurately, liaising with stakeholders, adhering to legal requirements, resolving disputes, maintaining records, collaborating with internal and external parties, managing relevant systems (Nafiza/Cargo-X), overseeing government transactions, preparing reports, administering exemption processes, ensuring timely certificate terminations, adhering to reporting protocols, managing settlements, calculating logistics routes and duties, tracking goods, cooperating with brokers, engaging with certification bodies, forecasting trends, and demonstrating strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and Microsoft Office skills, along with proficiency in written and spoken English.
