Logistic Specialist

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and resourceful Logistics Specialist to manage the flow of goods and materials without reliance on specialized logistics software. The ideal candidate will excel at manual scheduling, documentation, and communication with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Shipment Coordination: Plan, schedule, and track shipments using spreadsheets, email, and direct communication.
• Carrier & Vendor Management: Negotiate rates, book transport, and maintain strong working relationships with carriers and suppliers.
• Documentation & Compliance: Prepare bills of lading, customs paperwork, and ensure compliance with trade and transport regulations.
• Inventory Oversight: Monitor stock levels through manual records and coordinate with warehouse staff for replenishment.
• Problem Resolution: Respond quickly to delays, damages, or routing issues, finding practical solutions.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of shipments and costs using Excel or other manual tools.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, sales, and finance teams to align logistics with business needs.
