Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and ensure the compliance of all contracts with applicable UAE laws, including the Civil Code, Commercial Transactions Law, RERA/DLD regulations, Escrow Law, and internal company policies.
Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with commercial and real estate transactions.
Maintain and supervise the legal archive, contract repository, and associated documentation systems.
Manage RDC cases, including drafting claims and responses, and attending hearings.
Coordinate with developers, landlords, tenants, and consultants on all legal matters.
Address all legal aspects pertaining to Human Resources, including contracts, medical health insurance, group insurance, MOHRE disputes and claims, visas, life insurance, workers’ compensation, accident investigations, and related claims, disputes, and settlements.
Ensure compliance with all applicable UAE laws and regulations, including those stipulated by DED, DMCC, DIFC, and concerning Anti-Money Laundering (AML).
Advise senior management on corporate structuring, investments, partnerships, risks associated with development projects and financial agreements, land acquisition, feasibility studies, and compliance requirements.
Prepare legal opinions, memoranda, and reports for management review.
Lead and supervise the responsibilities of the legal department and its support staff.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Law; a Master’s degree in Law is highly desirable.
Master’s degree in Finance or Business is an added advantage.
A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Real Estate Law, Legal Advisory, or a similar legal position within the real estate industry.
A minimum of five (5) years of relevant real estate law experience within the UAE.
Demonstrated experience as both an individual contributor and a team leader in roles such as Real Estate Lawyer or Legal Advisor.

Skills & Competencies:

Comprehensive knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to the real estate industry.
In-depth understanding of state and local laws governing real estate in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
Familiarity with real estate concepts such as property management, sales transactions, and leasing.
Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Proven experience with relevant ERP and CRM systems.
Fluency in Arabic is essential for legal drafting, communication, and case filings.

Compensation:

A competitive salary will be offered, commencing from AED 12,000.
